Summary Status Report of The Landings Neighborhood Watch for the HOA Board of Directors - 3/21/2012

The Landings Neighborhood Watch (NW) Program is well underway:

  • Over 100 responses to the December 2011 Membership Drive have been received
  • An Excel Spreadsheet, capturing member profile information has bee developed
  • Email Distribution List(s) have been established and are being used (80 members have received 4 notices)
  • Telephone Trees/Circles are in work by Block Watch Captains
  • A (3 foot x 5 foot) Map is available for Emergency use listing all NW Members (and flagging Names/Addresses/Phone Numbers of those who granted permission)
  • The Landings has been divided into 10 Zones with five Zone Block Watch Captain Volunteers to date
  • The first Block Watch Captain Meeting was held March 7 and was attended by Chief of Police Longo and NW Liason Sgt. Wood who pledged their support to our NW
  • We have received Local TV coverage outlining our community efforts



News Update:

The Landings HOA Board of Directors approved our request to have Ed Santos (Owner of Center Target Sports in Post Falls) speak at the Annual HOA Meeting in May. The Subject title is "Appropriate Response to Prowlers and Home Invasion" and will cover a variety of Home Security subjects. Look to the right for a preview of the flyer that will be included in the Annual Meeting Notice Packet.
